Velodrome for London 2012 Olympics is opened!

The velodrome for the London 2012 Olympic Games opened on time and on budget. It holds 6000 people in the stands! It’s massive compared to Newport. The track looks amazing. Some of the GB riders were there at the opening today: Vicky Pendleton, Chris Hoy, Becky James, & Jess Varnish, to name a few. All were impressed given their reactions on twitter this afternoon.
